Meet Tim Liddy

Thanks for visiting this site to learn more about me and my efforts to make Holly Springs a better place to live and work.  I have been very passionate about working with the people of Holly Springs and I hope this information will inspire you to support me in my bid to be the next mayor of Holly Springs.

I am 63 years old and have lived in Holly Springs for the past 52 years.  I have been married to my wife, Lisa Shaw Liddy, for 37 years and we have two children.  Our daughter, Claire, is a 5th grade math and science teacher in Union County.  Our son, Logan, is a Park Ranger in Asheville, NC.   My wife and I have been very active in Holly Springs and we participate in many community events in the city.  We are members of Grace Lutheran Church in Holly Springs.  Lisa and I have lived in our home on Gholson Ave for 33 years.

I graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy in 1988, and after working in Memphis for a year, we opened a community pharmacy, Liddy's Health Mart, in Holly Springs.  For 37 years we have been fortunate enough to be able to sponsor and support many events in Holly Springs and Marshall County.  We have always believed to have a successful business, the community around us has to be successful.  We sold our pharmacy in 2017 and I am now the Pharmacy Manager for CVS Pharmacy in Holly Springs.  Lisa has also operated Court Square Inn Bed and Breakfast  for the past 14 years and we also opened The Apothecary, an event and banquet hall on the Holly Springs Square.

Over the years I have been asked to serve in various capacities in our city.  After joining the Holly Springs Chamber of Commerce, I eventually served as a board member and it's president.  I have chaired the Kudzu Festival Committee and Christmas Parade Committee.  I was instrumental in getting the Mississippi Hometown Retirement and Mississippi Main Street designations for our city.  I currently represent Marshall County on the Create Foundation's Commission on the Future of Northeast Mississippi.  I have also served as a member of the Holly Springs City Beautiful Commission and the Holly Springs Historic Preservation Commission.

My commitment to Holly Springs has earned the respect of voters, and I have been happy to serve as your Alderman-at-Large.  I was elected Alderman-at- Large 4 times by the citizens of Holly Springs.  I have served with 2 different Mayors and 4 different City Boards..  I have always worked to make Holly Springs a better place to live, work, and raise a family.  We have worked hard to make improvements to increase the quality of life of our citizens and to attract businesses and job creators.  Please take a look at the other pages on this site to review some of our accomplishments and to see my vision for the City of Holly Springs.

Thank you for taking time to learn more about me as an individual and a candidate.  I need, want, and am asking for your vote and support in the coming election on June 3, 2025.

Thanks,

Tim Liddy
